Connect to a WiFi network using Apple
1: Find the wireless network icon on your computer
This is normally a small "wireless" icon on the top of your screen. If you cannot find this icon, ensure Airport is switched on in your system settings.

2: View available WiFi networks
Click on the wireless icon to choose the network to connect to. Choose the Live-WiFi network.

3: Network Connected
When you have successfully connected, the wireless network connection will show as connected.
4: Open an Internet Browser
You should now be connected to the wi-fi network; open your browser and you will be taken to the Live-WiFi login page.
Not all Live-WiFi login pages are the same.
Opening an Internet browser will bring you to the Live-WiFi Login page.
5: Enter your username & password
If you do not have a username and password, speak to a member of staff.
6: Click Login
After you click "Connect", a window will advise you of your remaining time. You may click on "Click here to view remaining time" to view your remaining time.
You have logged on successfully to the Live-WiFi network.
7: When finished, log out
When you have finished using the WiFi, click "Logout" to end your session.

Tips:
Make sure you have a firewall and updated antivirus software when accessing a public WiFi hotspot.
If you are able to connect to the network but not the Internet, make sure your username and password has been entered correctly.
If you are unable to connect to the network, please ensure your laptop is set to automatically get its IP address from the router.
If you can't find the wireless network icon, ensure Airport is enabled. To check this, go to System Preferences then Network.
